Domaine des Entrefaux Tardy Crozes-Hermitage Rouge 2006

Importer's Notes: This Crozes-Hermitage is 100% Syrah. The vines are planted in soil made of rocks, pebble stones and clay. Aged 1/3 in oak barrel, 1/3 in foudre, 1/3 in tank, it is a deep ruby red color with a complex nose of fruits, spices, and mineral notes. Round and unctuous on the palate, fresh and well balanced with fine, chalky tannins. This wine is full of ripe red fruit flavors and smoky, tarry characters.
