Chateau Fleur Cardinale is located east of the village of Saint-Emilion, in the middle of the limestone clay plateau on one of the highest pieces of land in the appelation area. It produces a very fresh, long-ageing wine with fine, elegant tannins. Robert Parker 90-93 points: The stunning, deep ruby/purple-colored 2004 displays a beautiful bouquet of black fruits, melted licorice, smoked herbs, and a hint of graphite as well as opulent, medium to full bodied, concentrated, seamless flavors. |
