This rose shows aromas of great finesse, with prevailing notes of citrus fruits (pink grapefruit, lemon peel) layered with dried apricot and a touch of butter. The palate is broad and complex and exhibits spice flavors. Its minerality brings natural freshness without aggressive acidity. Goes nicely with mixed salads, shellfish, pork and chicken.
In 1963, Georges Delille acquired his property in the commune of Ollioules and, guided by his passion for great wine, undertook the reconstruction of the vineyards. The project involved terracing, renovation of the masonry, leaving the soil to lie dormant then re-planting, all in the spirit of bringing the soil back to the height of its capacity as terroir in the appellation of Bandol. In 1980, fresh from his oenology studies, Georgesí son Reynald joined the team and together they put his science into service, respecting tradition and nature. It was also in 1980 that they released their first bottling and as it was the terroir that inspired them, it was after this unique, rocky-brown clay for which they named the domain - Terrebrune.
